The role of Cook at California Fish Grill is a pivotal position responsible for preparing and directing the preparation of food using established production procedures and systems. - High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years related work experience
- Valid ServSafe or other approved Food Handler certification
- Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 lbs or less
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
- Required to know and follow safe work practices and company policies related to job safety
- Capable of maintaining composure in fast-paced and pressure situations
- Prior experience in food service positions
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer, and chef's knives
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
