The role of an OFR Product Manager based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is crucial for the effective operational management of the ocean freight product lines within DHL Global Forwarding. This full-time role involves overseeing the end-to-end processes of Ocean Freight Export and Import operations, ensuring the highest quality of service, financial results, and customer satisfaction. The manager serves as the main escalation contact for any issues regarding Ocean Freight Import and Export shipments and is responsible for setting and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) to align with business objectives. This position requires a strategic leader who will manage and collaborate with diverse internal teams such as ocean gateways, trucking, and handling departments to ensure seamless service delivery. The OFR Product Manager also engages with the sales team to support business growth through client meetings and calls. Managing month-end reports, Profit & Loss reviews, and overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are also critical functions within this position. Additionally, the OFR Product Manager supervises staff, including hiring, coaching, and training team members, and manages their performance according to company policies and procedures. Accuracy in invoice processing, shipping documentation, and adherence to compliance and safety standards are mandatory. The individual also leads vendor relationships to ensure top-tier service and assists in customer inquiries and service functions. This role offers a competitive salary range from $84,675 to $112,900 based on experience, along with performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
