The role of Cook within UNC REX Healthcare's Rex RCCC Dietary unit is pivotal in supporting the institution's healthcare mission through food preparation and kitchen management. The Cook is responsible for not only following culinary standards but also maintaining sanitary conditions in the cooking area, operating production kitchen equipment, and assisting in food quality testing and recipe standardization.
