The role is multifaceted, involving budget management of $40,000 to $90,000 depending on the center size, inventory control, and maintaining sanitary conditions in the kitchen and food service areas. In addition to managing daily food service, the Nutrition Coordinator creates weekly menus that balance nutrition and variety while fulfilling state and program regulations. The position also encompasses maintaining kitchen equipment, coordinating repair or replacement needs, and ensuring successful health inspections.
