We are currently seeking a dedicated Nutrition Assistant Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is a vital role contributing to the smooth operation of our nutrition and hospitality services for patients. The Nutrition Assistant Host/Hostess at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is responsible for ensuring patients receive high-quality nutrition care efficiently and courteously. You will be instrumental in providing excellent hospitality service by soliciting patient preferences, processing and maintaining diet orders, and resolving any food or nutrition-related issues that may arise. The role involves daily patient meal try passing and pickup, accurate documentation of patient information in compliance with facility requirements, and coordinating the distribution of meal tickets and production sheets within the department. This position demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to patient care. You will work closely with clinical and nutritional staff to enhance the patient dining experience, supporting our mission to improve health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and oral instructions
