The Sales Coordinator role within the Metals & Alloys Division is a pivotal position that involves extensive coordination of order-related activities. This full-time position requires managing order input, customer and supplier communications, order management, and expediting. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in supporting traders by handling customer service and supplier relationships, ensuring timely order processing from receipt to completion including managing contracts and all associated documentation. The role demands a candidate skilled in handling orders for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, with knowledge of hedging. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for system tasks including invoicing, crediting customers, processing supplier invoices, and managing broker confirmations. Maintaining an accurate backlog and clear communication with management regarding order status is also essential. Logistics support, including coordination of inland and sea transport related to orders as well as handling import/export documentation and procedures, is a vital component of the role. The Sales Coordinator will operate within a team environment and is expected to communicate effectively across departments and attend team meetings as necessary.
