The Juice and Specialty Product Preparation Specialist is a vital role within Product Connections, responsible for preparing juice and other specialty products for consumer purchase while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This position commands a wage range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. The specialist is entrusted with setting up and maintaining the preparation area, thoroughly understanding demonstration materials and program requirements, and complying with all safety protocols, including proper equipment handling and safe lifting techniques. The role requires accurate completion of reporting duties, active communication regarding schedules and corporate updates, and participation in necessary certifications and training. This position demands a commitment to maintaining a clean and sterile work environment, proficiency in food handling and packaging, and the capability to operate machinery safely. Team collaboration is also a key responsibility, assisting colleagues with event setup, kitchen duties, or cleanup as needed. Additionally, the specialist conducts food sampling and product demonstrations, supporting business needs through effective customer engagement. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
• Ability to continuously lift a minimum of 50 lbs. several times per day
• Ability to push a wheeled machine (with weight ranges 50-600 lbs.) to/from the sales floor
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time each day
• Ability to work varied hours throughout the day as required
• Ability to read and understand safety and food safety instructions
• Ability to work in environments with exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions and hot equipment
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate computer keyboard, mouse and/or other peripherals
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to listen and interact with customers
• Ability to climb with use of a 6' step stool when necessary
