The position requires the employee to post and balance charges and settlements efficiently and maintain records to prepare for the next day's operations. Additionally, this role serves as a front desk agent during shifts when needed, greeting and registering guests, providing courteous service, and managing guest accounts effectively. The position demands a thorough understanding of both hospitality service principles and accounting operations such as accounts receivable and accounts payable. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed revenue reports from restaurant data, auditing financial records, making necessary corrections, and handling any computer-related issues that arise. The role involves close coordination with the front desk and food and beverage teams to ensure smooth closing activities and proper system resets needed for the hotel's continuous operation.
