The role offered is for a Night Auditor at the XXX hotel, a property managed by General Hotels Corporation. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual responsible for balancing and auditing the accuracy of various revenue streams, including room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier's reports, guest and house accounts, and other hotel revenues. The Night Auditor plays a critical role during the overnight hours by ensuring that all accounting reports and supporting documents are completed and transmitted correctly, maintaining the financial integrity of the hotel’s nightly operations. Acting as the hotel system liaison during night hours, this position also provides essential guest services, handles phone calls, and assists with booking room reservations. The role demands a hospitality-oriented demeanor, excellent communication, and computer skills, alongside the ability to work overnight shifts reliably.
Moreover, the Night Auditor must be detail-oriented and possess previous experience in customer service, preferably in a similar role or within the hotel industry. Cash handling experience is also beneficial. The position specifically requires availability to work overnight shifts, including Monday and Tuesday nights, and mandates proficiency in English for both reading and speaking. The Night Auditor will contribute directly to the smooth functioning of nightly hotel operations, supporting both the financial and customer service aspects, making it an essential position in maintaining the quality and efficiency that guests expect from the General Hotels Corporation properties.
