The position advertised is for a Night Auditor based in Albuquerque, NM, operating out of the Clyde Hotel located in Downtown Albuquerque. This part-time, hourly role offers a competitive wage ranging from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience, along with comprehensive benefits. The Night Auditor plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of guest experience in the evening hours under the direction of the Director of Guest Experience. This position is essential in ensuring a seamless operational flow and a memorable experience for guests staying at Heritage Hotels and Resorts. 
The Night Auditor’s primary responsibility is to oversee the evening operations of the hotel’s front of house (FOH) team, acting as the managerial presence during the night shift. This involves supervising team members, communicating effectively with the property staff to maintain a smooth workflow, and ensuring compliance with all legal, safety, operational, and branding standards. The role requires a keen eye for financial oversight as well; the Night Auditor is responsible for monitoring daily financial transactions to minimize loss and improve profitability. This includes collaboration with the Accounting Department to ensure all expenses are documented correctly and payments are processed without issue.
In addition, the Night Auditor carries out important accounting functions such as balancing room charges with point-of-sale systems, performing daily backups and system maintenance, verifying credit card postings, and closing out daily work for all hotel outlets. Handling discrepancies promptly and distributing financial and operational reports accurately are also crucial aspects of this position. When needed, the Night Auditor will act as the manager on duty and oversee special projects assigned by the General Manager.

                - Strong knowledge of hospitality software and MS Office (specifically Excel)

 - Proven leadership experience in a hotel setting
 - Ability and willingness to work flexible long hours mostly in evenings, and may include weekends, and holidays
 - Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more
 - Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds occasionally
 - 3-4 years or equivalent combination of education and experience
 - High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
 - Some college preferred
