The Cashier II position at St. Louis-Lambert Airport is a key role within HMSHost’s F&B operations, responsible for enhancing the customer experience through efficient order taking, accurate transaction processing, and attentive service delivery. This non-exempt role offers advertised compensation starting at $16.66 per hour and involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environment serving a diverse customer base. The role emphasizes not only operational efficiency but also customer interaction, ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued. As a Cashier II, the individual will perform various tasks that support the overall functioning of the restaurant. These tasks include greeting guests, taking food and alcohol orders, operating the cash register, and adhering to all cash handling and alcohol service policies. The role also involves occasional food delivery to customers, managing beverage refills, and assisting with cleaning and stocking duties to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. The position requires compliance with alcohol awareness training to prevent intoxication and uphold legal responsibilities. Physical requirements include the ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods while performing job duties.
