NEW STORE OPENING - Retail Cashier - Profit sharing

As Jacksons expands its presence with a brand-new store located at 6882 W State St in Boise, ID, it is seeking enthusiastic new team members to help build something amazing as they open this exciting new location. The anticipated start date for new hires is November 3rd, with the store officially opening on November 18th. In the interim, team members will train at several Boise locations to ensure they are fully prepared to provide outstanding service once the new store opens. Shifts vary throughout the day, and candidates with flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, will be given preference. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering employment opportunities to a wide range of individuals. The pay rate for the position is $15.50 per hour. The role of Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate at Jacksons is much more than just handling transactions. As valued team members, cashiers and customer service associates serve as the face of the store, greeting customers warmly, providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, and ensuring each customer feels appreciated and invited to return. Associates will be responsible for accurately ringing up sales while promoting store specials and applying discounts and promotions in line with company policies and legal guidelines. Beyond checkout duties, team members help maintain the store's cleanliness, restock shelves and coolers, and ensure food areas and equipment are sanitary and properly maintained. Employees follow strict standards for food handling, preparation, storage, and disposal while labeling and rotating merchandise as needed. This role requires a proactive mindset and the ability to perform additional duties as assigned.
