As a Manager at Subway, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Your responsibilities will focus on eight main areas: providing excellent guest service, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, maintaining a clean and functional restaurant environment, managing inventory and financial controls, coordinating local marketing efforts including community outreach, recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members, maintaining safety and security standards, and fostering a collaborative team environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and the physical ability to manage all restaurant areas and operate the Point of Sale system efficiently.
On a daily basis, you will recruit and develop team members, ensure compliance with safety and food hygiene protocols, maintain and analyze business records to drive sales growth, engage with prospective customers to promote the brand, support local and national marketing campaigns, and organize special events and promotions to attract and retain customers. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant environment
- Experience supervising and training staff
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members
- Proficient computer skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties including bending, standing and walking the entire workday
- Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
