This position is for a Level Two Field Service Technician based in the New Orleans area, which requires daily travel to various locations including airports. The role is integral to the company’s operational success by ensuring that security and detection equipment is installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. The technician must be highly skilled in electronic repair troubleshooting, with an intermediate level of product knowledge, and possess the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to diagnose faults accurately. Key products serviced include Trace, X-Ray, CT X-Ray, and Cargo Inspection Systems. The Field Service Technician role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and knowledge sharing among peers, while also requiring excellent oral and written communication skills. The technician will be responsible for completing scheduled maintenance, responding promptly to emergency and unscheduled service calls, and maintaining detailed field service logs and reports.   • Associate's degree or related trade certification or military training
  • Minimum 5 years experience in electrical or mechanical field service role
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and respond to emergency calls
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to 80 lbs and push or pull 200 lbs
  • Ability to move equipment weighing up to 1000 lbs with assistance
