The Medical Support Specialist role at BioLife Plasma Services is essential in maintaining the health, safety, and eligibility of plasma donors. Reporting to the Plasma Center Manager, the specialist supports plasma center operations daily by conducting thorough donor eligibility assessments, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and communicating unsuitable test outcomes to donors. The position requires a strong healthcare background, familiarity with plasma industry regulations, and the ability to implement health and safety protocols. This full-time, hourly-paid role in Kyle, Texas, offers an hourly wage ranging from $23.85 to $32.79, based on experience, education, and location. The Medical Support Specialist acts with medical oversight from the Center Physician, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines and maintaining compliance with state and FDA requirements.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
  • Currently licensed or certified in assigned state
  • EMT-Paramedic certification
  • Current CPR and AED certification
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
  • Complete FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
  • Two years clinical or hospital setting experience
