The position of Supervisor, Reservations at Classic Vacations is a leadership role within the Call Center division, reporting directly to the Director of Reservations. This pivotal role supervises and guides a team of Travel Sales Specialists focused on delivering exceptional customer service and sales excellence. The Supervisor will lead by example, cultivating a positive, energetic workplace culture that motivates the team to exceed performance goals, achieve high customer satisfaction, and embody the company’s standards. This role requires expertise in managing daily operations, coaching and developing staff, and ensuring the seamless handling of client interactions that reflect Classic Vacations’ renowned service quality.
Responsibilities include overseeing team performance through careful monitoring of key performance indicators and service level goals, conducting coaching sessions and performance reviews, and administering corrective actions when needed. The supervisor acts as a liaison between various departments such as Outside Sales, Business Development, Product, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure consistency in service delivery and swift resolution of client concerns. Additionally, the role involves managing department communication channels like inboxes to guarantee timely, accurate responses and handling escalations with calm and solution-oriented leadership.
Candidates should have a strong background in leadership within sales or hospitality environments, with at least three years of supervisory experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related fields is preferred. Key skills include proficiency in sales strategies, customer service best practices, analytical and reporting capabilities, and advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems such as Plex or Smartsheet. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an inspiring leadership style, excellent communication skills, strong organizational ability, and a genuine passion for travel and helping others succeed.
