We are currently seeking experienced Restaurant General Managers (RGM) to lead the daily operations of our restaurants. The RGM will be responsible for ensuring that each location meets GPS Hospitality’s standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and financial performance. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a team of managers and service staff, work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, and drive both operational and financial success. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a performance-based bonus structure that reflects their impact on the restaurant's success. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work various shifts including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekends.
The RGM’s primary responsibilities include hitting sales and profit budgets consistently, executing accurate scheduling and projections, maintaining a safe and clean restaurant environment, hiring and training dedicated crew members, and implementing tight restaurant accounting controls. They must demonstrate excellent critical thinking and communication skills, take part in marketing initiatives, and ensure compliance with all safety, food handling, and employment regulations. By fostering a supportive and motivated team culture, the RGM plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience while optimizing operational efficiencies and profitability. - 3-5 years of general manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance
