The Bartender position at L1al is an essential role focused on delivering superior customer service and ensuring that every guest has a positive and enjoyable experience at our properties. The bartender will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, presenting drink menus, making recommendations based on guest preferences, and accurately mixing beverages according to standard recipes. Bartenders are also tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area, including all utensils, glasses, and equipment. Handling payments, operating POS systems, and managing cash accurately are vital components of the job.   • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must possess and maintain a current California Food Handlers Certificate
  • Must possess and maintain a current ABC-approved California Responsible Beverage Server Training Certificate
  • Previous bartending experience required
  • Basic math skills necessary
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a POS terminal/device
  • Willingness to serve and entertain guests according to the perceived atmosphere and expectation
  • Ability to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance
  • Availability to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
  • Must have sound judgment and solid leadership skills and experience
