FlightSafety International is seeking a dedicated Flight Instructor to join their expert team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction in accordance with established aviation regulations and FlightSafety Training principles. The Flight Instructor will conduct pilot ground and simulator training, supporting clients through core, specialty, and enrichment training courses designed to enhance operational excellence and regulatory compliance. This position demands a high level of expertise, professionalism, and a passion for teaching. The selected candidate will be responsible not only for delivering training but also for developing and preparing instructional materials tailored to meet client needs and the applicable curriculum. They will evaluate and measure trainee progress to recommend qualifications or suggest additional training as needed. Accurate documentation of training records specific to each client is essential to support the client’s success in achieving their objectives. The Flight Instructor will play a vital role in identifying any client training issues and seeking assistance proactively prior to training execution. Maintaining instructor qualifications in line with regulatory requirements is mandatory, emphasizing the importance of continual professional development within this role. FlightSafety International offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $171,250, depending on various factors including the candidate’s qualifications, education, skills, experience, and market demands.   • Must be able and willing to participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program
  • An unrestricted ATP certificate or an ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License
  • If no ATP, must meet the requirements of 14 CFR part 61.153 and 14 CFR part 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience limitation
  • A minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating
  • Preferred: FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training experience
  • Preferred: 2,500 hours of total flight time
