The role available is a full-time pilot position operating medical aircraft under Air Methods' Helicopter Air Ambulance program. The position offers a lucrative $15,000 sign-on bonus as well as a structured 7 days on/7 days off schedule featuring 12-hour shifts to promote a healthy work-life balance. Pilots serve as the ultimate authority on aircraft operations, responsible for the safe, legal, and efficient operation of the EC130 helicopter while providing critical support to medical teams and ensuring timely and secure patient transport. This role requires comprehensive pre-flight inspections, detailed flight planning, and adherence to strict safety protocols, including extensive aircraft familiarity and operational readiness checks.
