The role of Sous Chef at Ann's Choice offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic culinary team that delivers innovative Signature Dining Programs, including à la minute cooking and chef-inspired creations. Working in state-of-the-art kitchens equipped with top-tier appliances, the Sous Chef will play a critical role in ensuring that resident meals meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. The position offers a starting salary of $58,000 annually, plus potential bonuses, reflecting the community's investment in culinary excellence.
As a Sous Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, supervising scheduling, training, and discipline of culinary and utility staff, acting as the Chef’s right hand and taking charge in the Chef’s absence. This leadership role requires managing food production from preparation through service, ensuring adherence to recipes, dietary restrictions, food safety protocols, and nutritional guidelines essential to senior living.
