They are currently seeking a superior Medical Receptionist with a strong passion for pediatric care to join their Winter Haven, Florida location. This is a vital role that acts as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, fostering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. The role involves greeting patients and families as they arrive, updating their information accurately, verifying insurance details, collecting payments, and assisting with check-in and check-out procedures. The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine dedication to customer service. Working within a busy pediatric medical office, the Medical Receptionist supports both providers and patients, ensuring smooth operational workflows and contributing to a positive healthcare experience. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with every other Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. as well. The role may require occasional travel to other office locations, offering variety and an opportunity to engage with multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably pediatric, strong computer skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting
  • Valid and active driver's license
  • Ability to learn and apply Pediatric Associates procedures, policies, and protocols
  • Proficient grammar, spelling, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions
  • Knowledge of computer and basic medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to maintain professional and excellent phone etiquette
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Physical ability to perform duties including standing, sitting, manual dexterity, and lifting 10 pounds or less
  • Flexibility to work designated hours including evenings and every other Saturday
  • Willingness to travel 15-20 percent to other office locations as needed
