The company is currently seeking several dedicated Medical Receptionists to join a large orthopedic company located in Owosso, Michigan. This role is full-time, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, designed to handle a high volume of patient traffic with 20 to 35 patients daily. The position requires candidates with at least two years of medical receptionist experience and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. The Medical Receptionist will serve as the vital first point of contact for patients, ensuring seamless check-in processes, accurate demographic data entry, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. Responsibilities also include quoting co-pays, updating patient information, and eventually receiving training for patient check-out processes and prior authorization duties. Ideal candidates possess strong computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities. Experience within an orthotic and prosthetic office environment is preferred and considered a bonus. The offered pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.
