The role of Medical Receptionist at ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP in the Purchase office location is a full-time position paying $21 per hour. This role is perfect for a self-motivated, people-friendly individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As the Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, representing the face of the practice. Your responsibilities will include scheduling patient appointments, assisting incoming patients, verifying insurance coverage, entering patient demographics into the electronic system, and managing medical charts. Additionally, you will support office managers and physicians as needed, ensuring smooth office operations and excellent patient care.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team and be comfortable handling multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance processes are considered assets, as is proficiency in NextGen software. Being bilingual in Spanish is also a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse patient population. The required work schedule rotates weekly with hours spread across Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays, accommodating varying physician schedules.
