Our outpatient imaging center is a busy medical facility dedicated to providing high-quality and efficient diagnostic imaging services to patients. We specialize in a variety of imaging modalities including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds, serving a diverse patient population with personalized care and attention. Our center prides itself on using state-of-the-art technology and employing a team of highly trained professionals who are passionate about patient care and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist / Patient Service Representative to join our team as the first point of contact for patients visiting our high-volume outpatient imaging center. This full-time position plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of our clinic by managing front-desk operations with professionalism and efficiency. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting and registering patients, verifying insurance information, collecting copays and fees, answering and routing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the accuracy of electronic medical records (EMR). The candidate must be adept at multitasking within a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-service oriented approach and upholding confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards. This role provides an opportunity to be involved in meaningful patient interactions while contributing to the operational success of a respected medical imaging center.   • High school diploma or GED
  • MediClear or equivalent HIPAA certification
  • intermediate or advanced computer skills
  • familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • dependable with a service-oriented attitude
  • prior experience in medical front desk or reception roles preferred
