We currently seek a motivated and detail-oriented Patient Service Specialist to join our front office team on a part-time basis. The Patient Service Specialist plays a crucial role as the initial point of contact for patients visiting our clinic. This position involves managing all front office activities including greeting patients, handling the reception area, managing mail, and verifying insurance details. The specialist acts as a patient concierge, delivering warm and efficient customer service to ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure. Responsibilities include gathering and entering patient registration information, collecting co-pays, and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records. The specialist also balances daily financial transactions, arranges referrals, and supports other staff members as needed. This role demands exceptional multitasking abilities, comprehensive knowledge of medical coding and billing, as well as familiarity with state and federal regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA. The candidate must maintain professionalism and uphold patient confidentiality at all times. Given the fast-paced nature of the healthcare environment, the Patient Service Specialist must be adaptable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently. To perform well in this part-time role, candidates will be expected to have prior medical office experience and possess essential computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.38 to $20.19 and provides a supportive working environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care and administrative excellence.
