The open position is located at the Methodist Physicians Clinic within the Regency area of Omaha, Nebraska. This role is a full-time opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits within a supportive and collaborative work environment. The selected candidate will be instrumental in maintaining efficient patient flow and communication within the clinic by registering patients, managing appointment schedules, handling insurance inquiries, and ensuring that all patient records and demographic data are accurately maintained and updated. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and other employees both in person and over the phone. The role demands a detail-oriented and organized individual who can efficiently navigate electronic medical records systems and various scheduling and registration applications. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting patients promptly and courteously, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and addressing any patient concerns or questions in a professional manner. Additionally, this role involves preparing patient records for office visits, assisting with forms and documentation, and supporting the team by managing written communications including forms, letters, and mail. The position also demands sensitivity to diverse patient needs including age-specific care and confidentiality, ensuring patient comfort and compliance with all healthcare privacy standards. Physical requirements include the ability to perform medium light work with intermittent lifting of up to 35 pounds, as well as standing, sitting, carrying, keyboarding, and other common activities associated with office work.
