Working as part of a busy recycling company, a Sorter’s duties require a mix of physical endurance, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills to assist customers with unloading materials. The job entails consistent physical activity, including standing for the entire shift and lifting materials up to 75 pounds in varying weather conditions, whether it be heat, cold, wind or rain. Candidates must embody trustworthiness, reliability, and a strong work ethic, as well as demonstrate initiative and the ability to problem solve independently and as part of a team.
