The Material Handler is responsible for performing a variety of material handling functions that support both internal teams and external customers. These include shipping and receiving goods, material stocking, issuance, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and even handling chemical and biohazardous waste. Operating in a temperature-controlled environment, the individual will ensure materials and products are managed with the highest standard of accuracy and care. The Material Handler will be involved in tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, documenting transactions into the SAP system, operating forklifts and other equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory controls in both main and satellite warehouses. This role demands strict adherence to FDA regulations and GMP quality standards, highlighting the importance of detail-oriented work and comprehensive record-keeping, including housekeeping logs and equipment checklists. Furthermore, the position involves the handling of hazardous and bio-hazardous materials in accordance with established safety protocols, showcasing the company’s dedication to Environmental Health and Safety policies. This full-time position offers an estimated pay range of $20 to $21 per hour, with eligibility to participate in the company’s bonus pool up to 5%.   • Associate degree, applicable certification, or military veteran status preferred
  • Related warehouse and inventory control experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of material handling and inventory control
  • Preferred forklift experience in warehouse
  • Must be proactive and detail oriented
  • Self-starter with good judgment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Computer literacy with MS Office proficiency
