This position offers a competitive pay rate of $19.05 per hour plus a $1 shift differential and an additional $1.50 surge pay, underscoring the company's commitment to valuing its night shift workforce. The Material Handler supports the supply chain by operating powered equipment, handling inventory, and ensuring the accurate fulfillment of orders. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in warehouse operations, particularly in order fulfillment roles such as order picking and packing. Cross-training across multiple departments, including inbound and outbound shipping, auto store operations, and both domestic and international logistics, is highly valued. Candidates should be adept at verifying product accuracy through computer systems, shipping labels, and packing lists. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or SAP is highly desirable, reflecting the company's reliance on technology for operational efficiency. This role requires physical stamina, as the employee must be able to stand for up to 90% of the shift and safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
