The Manager of Facilities and Security at The New Children's Museum plays a pivotal leadership role essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and smoothly operating museum environment. This role encompasses comprehensive oversight of the museum's buildings, grounds, and infrastructure, ensuring that all physical aspects of the museum support its mission effectively. The Manager supervises custodial, maintenance, and security teams, fostering a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere for visitors, staff, and artists alike. Critical responsibilities include leading daily operations focused on facility upkeep such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, while also managing preventive maintenance to guarantee system reliability and safety.
