The Front of House (FOH) Manager role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of a high-volume branded dining concept located on City Walk. This leadership position is responsible for managing the front of house team and daily operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the FOH Manager sets high standards for customer service, team productivity, and guest satisfaction. The role requires a proactive leader who can operate independently with limited supervision while motivating and developing a team to meet and exceed performance goals. The FOH Manager drives operating profit goals and implements strategies to optimize sales and control costs related to food, beverage, and labor. They enforce strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning food safety, labor laws, and health standards. Collaborating closely with Human Resources, the FOH Manager plays a vital role in training and developing leadership capabilities within the restaurant team. They monitor financial performance, communicate results, and provide strategic recommendations to the General Manager to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. The role thrives on maintaining high levels of engagement both among team members and guests, ensuring the restaurant aligns with NBCUniversal's mission and brand standards. In addition to overseeing daily operations, the FOH Manager is responsible for organizing marketing activities and promotional events, managing inventory levels, and conducting comprehensive inventories. They assist the Kitchen Manager with menu changes and address guest inquiries and complaints personally, ensuring a positive experience for every visitor. This role demands strong analytical skills to interpret financial reports and implement corrective actions swiftly to maintain profitability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of management experience in high quality chain or independent restaurant group
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and POS systems
  • Ability to work rotating schedules, holidays, weekends and nights
  • This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite
