We are currently seeking experienced Senior Exercise Planners and Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) Managers to join our team in support of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) A7 training and certification exercises. This role is instrumental in designing, planning, and executing large-scale joint and combined exercises that certify deployable combat wings. The position demands a deep understanding of military exercise operations, scenario development, and MSEL management to ensure alignment with Air Force and combatant command standards. This full-time employment opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $145,000, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the role.
As a Senior Exercise Planner & MSEL Manager, you will lead the development of detailed exercise scenario packages including objectives, timelines, injects, and evaluation criteria. You will oversee the synchronization of MSEL injects, ensuring quality and relevance throughout the exercise lifecycle. Additionally, you will engage actively at all planning stages — initial, midpoint, and final conferences — contributing insights and facilitating coordination both virtually and in person. A key aspect of the role includes providing on-site support during exercise execution in capacities such as controller, evaluator, role player, or data collector. You will also be responsible for preparing and delivering daily situation reports (SITREPs) and supporting after-action reviews that include final leadership briefings and corrective action plans. The role requires adaptability, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams across various locations.
