In the Guest Room Attendant role, you will be entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of both vacant and occupied guest rooms according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your role is essential in ensuring that guests experience the highest level of comfort and satisfaction during their stay. Responsibilities include making beds, changing linens, replenishing towels and amenities, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures. Special attention is given to Select Guest and VIP rooms to meet the distinct standards that set Omni apart in luxury hospitality. Additional duties include removing room service trays, reporting maintenance issues, managing daily task sheets, monitoring Do Not Disturb (DND) rooms, and handling lost and found items. The position requires excellent communication as you will coordinate closely with supervisors and housekeeping offices to ensure seamless operation and guest satisfaction. This role demands physical stamina, as it involves lifting and moving heavy items as well as standing or walking for prolonged periods. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hotel housekeeping, demonstrate attention to detail, manage time effectively, and maintain a 4-Diamond level of service.
