The Food and Beverage Manager role at Shady Canyon Golf Club is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $95,000 annually. This role is vital to the club's overall guest satisfaction and operational success as it oversees all food and beverage functions within the club. The manager will directly supervise front-of-house staff, including responsibilities related to hiring, training, and managing performance to ensure that every dining experience meets the club’s exceptional standards. This position also incorporates strategic marketing efforts to boost member engagement and optimize revenue generation from dining and events.
The Food and Beverage Manager will lead with a focus on staff development, operational excellence, guest experience, financial management, and compliance. This includes conducting comprehensive onboarding for new hires, providing ongoing coaching and evaluations, handling scheduling and payroll, and enforcing club policies. Operational duties emphasize maintaining cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards across all food and beverage areas while ensuring smooth daily dining operations through effective pre-shift meetings and coordination between kitchen and service staff.
Delivering remarkable guest experiences is a cornerstone of this role, where the manager greets members and guests, manages reservations and guest tracking systems, and promptly resolves any concerns. Financial oversight includes cost control, billing accuracy for events, researching new products, and executing marketing initiatives aimed at promoting club dining and special events.
Event and function oversight is another key aspect where the manager assists in planning special events and banquets, approves room setups, manages banquet inventory, and ensures readiness for all functions. Compliance responsibilities revolve around adherence to state and local alcohol service regulations and enforcing club policies consistently.
Collaboration across departments is essential, with the Food and Beverage Manager participating in meetings and working closely with other managers to continually enhance club operations. Additional duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager include supporting ongoing club needs. This role demands a professional with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering excellence in fine dining and hospitality environments.

 - minimum 2 years previous food and beverage and supervisory experience at a fine dining establishment
