The role of Lot Porter at Camping World is an essential position within the service team, responsible for ensuring the smooth movement and proper maintenance of RV units across the dealership lot. This role demands a hands-on individual with experience in driving and maneuvering large vehicles such as RVs and expertise in equipment operation including yard tractors and forklifts. The Lot Porter will play a key role in maintaining the professional appearance of the lot, ensuring that vehicles are clean, orderly, and properly secured. This position offers full-time employment with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $20.33. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Towing experience preferred
- Ability to use yard tractor and/or forklift
- Ability to drive an RV
- Experience using generators and operating slide-outs
- Ability to repair small items and identify problem units
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
- Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
