The role of Lot Porter at Price Family Dealerships is crucial for maintaining the appearance and functionality of the dealership's lots. This full-time, non-exempt position supports both Sales and Service Departments by performing a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the showroom lots are attractive and well-maintained to potential buyers. The Lot Porter is responsible for the movement of vehicles throughout the dealership, assisting in inventory control and service areas, and completing maintenance tasks that enhance the overall presentation of the vehicles and the lots. This position involves physical work such as lifting heavy items, standing, walking, and performing routine movements necessary to maintain a pristine lot environment. Additionally, the Lot Porter may be tasked with delivering vehicles to other dealerships or vendors and occasionally providing transport for customers, requiring a valid driver’s license and responsible driving. The role demands attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Working hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet dealership needs. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid drivers' license
- One to three years of porter experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for long periods
- Ability to perform routine kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Willingness to work evening, weekend and holiday hours
- Ability to travel to other dealership locations as required
