This position is responsible for managing daily operational activities that ensure smooth yard functionality, including the check-in and check-out processes for trucks, trailers, and rolling equipment. The Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security, and organization of the yard, performing regular inspections, and enforcing safety protocols. Exceptional customer service is also a key aspect of this role, as the Lot Attendant acts as the primary on-site contact for drivers and customers, providing support and resolving issues efficiently. The role requires collaboration with dispatchers, drivers, and corporate teams to optimize yard operations and report on operational trends and challenges. Scheduled shifts for this position offer flexibility, with options for night, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, including 4-hour, 8-hour, and 10-hour shifts. This is a part-time, temporary role based in Miami, Florida, with an emphasis on overtime pay as part of the compensation package.   • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in an operations or logistics role preferably within a truck or equipment yard environment
