Located onsite in Noblesville, Indiana, this opportunity involves a role as a Logistics Coordinator, offering an hourly rate of $25 to $28. This role is essential in managing shipping, receiving, inventory, and overall logistics operations for capital and service jobs across North America. The Logistics Coordinator supports the installation and service teams operating within the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring that critical parts and shipments are delivered on time and accurately handled. The role demands a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for driving 100% on-time delivery rates for divisional shipping and receiving operations, managing spare parts logistics including monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, and preparing outgoing shipments such as spare parts, returns, and machine orders. In addition, the role involves receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, documenting materials, and supporting logistics processes through workflow procedure updates, SOPs, and shared documentation. A key function of this role includes adhering to industry standards including ISO regulations, health and safety rules, and company policies while managing international shipping compliance and documentation. The Coordinator also collaborates closely with Comecer logistics teams in Italy and the Netherlands, and coordinates with customs brokers to ensure smooth import processes for international deliveries. The position calls for supporting and maintaining the JD Edwards ERP database and contributing to process improvements which enhance operational efficiencies. With a major focus on establishing visual management and 5S procedures within the logistics space, the position supports maintaining accurate inventory records, issuing parts, and coordinating regular inventory or cycle counts.
