The role in focus is that of providing comprehensive administrative, coordination, and execution support to the Director of Sales specifically for special events within Live Nation's Concerts Division. This includes coordinating event logistics with various internal departments such as production, operations, and food and beverage, as well as liaising with external vendors. Handling administrative tasks like maintaining digital filing systems, supporting the upkeep of department systems including CRM and event diagramming programs, and managing accounting functions such as processing deposits, payments, and accounts receivable tracking are core components of the job. The role also demands assisting in managing departmental supplies like sales kits and client gifting material, updating special event menus in partnership with the marketing team, and supporting the Director of Sales in key reporting activities such as strategic sales plans, competitive analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and weekly recaps. Candidates must demonstrate basic mathematical skills and, preferably, have a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. The fast-paced nature of the entertainment industry requires the ability to multitask, prioritize, and navigate a dynamic work environment with frequent interruptions and noise. This position suits someone who is passionate, motivated, resourceful, and committed with an entrepreneurial spirit. Preferred candidates have at least one year of experience in hospitality or customer service roles, proficiency in standard office computer applications, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. While a bachelor’s degree is preferred, key qualities such as punctuality, professionalism, teamwork, productivity, and adherence to company policies are essential for success. The role may include flexible working hours with the need to operate during days, nights, and weekends as situations demand.
