The role of the Line Cook/Roundsman at Berkeley Hall Club is essential for maintaining the club’s high standards in food quality and service. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef, this non-exempt position is pivotal in the culinary operations of the club. The Line Cook is entrusted with preparing and cooking meals for members and guests, ensuring every dish reflects consistency, quality, and an outstanding guest experience. This position requires flexibility as it supports various kitchen areas including pantry, hot line, and banquet operations. Candidates are expected to be proficient in executing menu items precisely, managing station readiness, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The dynamic environment calls for team collaboration, effective communication with kitchen management and fellow cooks, and the ability to perform under pressure with professionalism.

                - Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred (minimum of five years)
 - Proficient in basic food prep and cooking techniques
 - Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food safety procedures, and basic culinary operations
 - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
 - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
 - A keen eye for detail to ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
 - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
 - Willingness to work all shifts
 - morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
