As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing high-quality food items that align with federal, state, and corporate regulations as well as Levy’s own rigorous standards. Your responsibilities extend beyond cooking to include food safety compliance, maintaining cleanliness, operating kitchen equipment, and supporting inventory management.
This role demands a dedicated professional who takes pride in producing food that is not only delicious but also visually appealing and properly portioned. You will be responsible for tasting food to ensure quality, correctly using portion controls, and maintaining proper serving temperatures to adhere to HACCP standards. Your work will support seamless service delivery through the use of established ticket collection procedures and record-keeping during service periods. Compliance with safety protocols is paramount; this includes the mandatory use of protective gloves and shoes and application of safe lifting techniques to ensure a safe kitchen environment for yourself and your colleagues.
