The Floating General Manager also plays a strategic role by assisting with local marketing initiatives, staff training, quality assurance, and property improvements under the guidance of the Regional Operations Manager. As a Floating General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily hotel operations based on established General Manager protocols, including guest services, sales, maintenance, and staff supervision. You will be expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s computer systems and front office management to effectively lead property teams and contribute to financial performance and budget adherence. The position demands strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks often in high-pressure situations. Since this role covers several properties, a significant amount of travel and overnight stays within the assigned market will be required. • Minimum 3 years management and supervisory experience
• high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• valid driver’s license
• current auto insurance

• ability to read, speak, write and understand English
• proficiency in reading and interpreting various reports
• sufficient math skills for revenue and labor cost calculations
