About the Line Cook Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Line Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. This position is integral to the smooth operation of the restaurant, as it involves preparing food according to prescribed recipes and maintaining the high standards that Premier Steakhouse is known for. The Line Cook will work closely with the executive chef and general manager to ensure that every dish meets the quality criteria in terms of taste, presentation, and timeliness. This role requires a hardworking and flexible individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members. Communication skills are essential, particularly proficiency in English, to understand orders, communicate tasks, and uphold health and safety regulations. The restaurant operates seven days a week, serving both lunch and dinner, which provides an excellent opportunity for consistent work and professional growth. Compensation is competitive, offering $22 to $27 per hour based on experience, along with a percentage of the service charge. • Reliable transportation to and from work
• knowledge of and ability to consistently prepare all food recipes and sub-recipes as instructed
• ability to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written form
• ability to expedite tickets accurately and timely
• must have knives and other small hand tools as part of uniform
• proper cooling and storing practices per health department rules
• knowledge of techniques for making stock, sauces, sauteing, grilling, poaching, and plating
• ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• ability to follow directions in fast-paced environment
• must possess excellent customer relations, sales, and communication skills
• valid Washington State Health Card and any other government-required cards
