The Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator role at Eventide Senior Living Communities is a full-time position based in the Care Center, with working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, including every third weekend and holiday rotations. This pivotal role involves designing and implementing activity programs that stimulate residents physically, mentally, and socially to enhance their overall quality of life. The coordinator plans and coordinates diverse activities tailored to residents' varying physical and mental capabilities, providing opportunities for recreation, engagement, and personal fulfillment. The coordinator also develops meaningful relationships with residents and their families to better understand their interests and needs. Maintaining detailed records for each resident is an essential part of the job, encompassing attendance, progress charts, goal setting, quarterly notes, hospitalization reviews, discharge summaries, and initial assessments. Additionally, the Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator participates in care conferences alongside the resident care team to evaluate and update care plans. The role requires electronic documentation of critical data such as the Minimum Data Set, RAPS, triggers, and care plans in compliance with healthcare standards. Leadership and initiative are vital traits for this coordinator, as they must lead activities and events, suggest program improvements to the Director of Life Enrichment, and respond promptly to resident call lights to ensure safety and satisfaction. Eventide offers a competitive starting pay range of $18.00 to $19.62 per hour for the Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator role, with rates dependent on qualifications, experience, and location.
