At Lucky Strike Entertainment, the role of the Kitchen Manager is crucial to maintaining the company’s nationally recognized food and beverage program. Kitchen Managers serve as the guardians of food quality and operational efficiency, ensuring that every dish served aligns with company standards for taste, freshness, and presentation. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete kitchen workflow, adhering to the company’s food and beverage menus and purchasing programs, maintaining budget controls related to revenue, cost of sales, labor, and supplies. You will also analyze monthly profit and loss statements to make strategic operational adjustments that keep the kitchen running profitably. Collaboration with the Operations team and Sales staff is integral to creating and executing successful events, celebrations, and parties where food and beverage play a central role.
This position also requires adept planning skills—estimating food consumption, managing inventory purchases, and scheduling staff efficiently to meet the fluctuating business demands typical of entertainment venues. Equally important is the role of recruitment, training, and retention of a high-performing kitchen staff that includes lead cooks, cooks, dishwashers, and servers. Kitchen Managers maintain rigorous standards of kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance to comply with all local Department of Health regulations.
Successful candidates will possess a minimum of three years of kitchen management experience, preferably within high-volume retail, hospitality, or entertainment settings. A Bachelor’s degree or culinary degree is preferred, along with current ServSafe certification; an instructor certification or the ability to obtain one is considered a strong advantage. Experience in banquet-style food preparation and catering events is also highly regarded, although not mandatory.
