The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for effectively communicating the benefits and features of apartment homes to prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process, and ensuring a seamless move-in experience. This position requires creative event planning and marketing efforts aimed at sustaining high occupancy rates and enhancing resident satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include managing resident concerns, maintaining accurate records via property management software, and engaging the community through social media and online platforms. This full-time, non-exempt role demands flexibility, as the candidate must be willing to work weekends and potentially over 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, possess business acumen, and be a collaborative team player who upholds SPI’s standards of professionalism. • Minimum of 1+ years of property management experience or customer service in related field
• Lease-up experience preferred
• Experience in 200+ unit properties desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Rent Cafe and On-Site credit software
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
• Solid business logic and ability to analyze and prioritize tasks
• Ability to follow instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision
• Team player with positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work weekends and flexible schedule including possible over 40 hours per week
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 10 pounds
• Intermediate knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of competitive market and property amenities
• Understanding of landlord/tenant laws and legal responsibilities
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required
