The Cleaner role at ABM is an entry-level position ideal for individuals new to the workforce or those returning with limited work experience or education. This role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas within client facilities. No prior experience or educational qualifications such as a high school diploma or GED are required, as on-the-job training is provided. The position involves a variety of cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, trash removal, and restroom servicing, as well as seasonal maintenance tasks such as raking leaves and snow removal. The Cleaner must follow prescribed procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage, and maintain communication with supervisors regarding any repairs or maintenance needs. This role demands compliance with safety, security, and quality standards, making it essential for the candidate to work effectively with clients, co-workers, and management.
