The Lead Food & Beverage Attendant role at San Manuel serves as a pivotal position within the Front of House (FOH) team, operating under the direction of the Supervisor of Food & Beverage. This role manages key venue responsibilities such as overseeing the host stand, managing the Point of Sale (POS) system, and ensuring smooth operations within the dining room. The Lead Food & Beverage Attendant acts as a vital link between the FOH and culinary teams, facilitating communication and coordination to upgrade the overall guest service. By providing guidance, training, and support to a team of attendants, this role helps drive a consistent Best in Class experience that aligns tightly with Yaamava's Brand Service Standards. Core to the role is delivering friendly, efficient service to all patrons while addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. This position is responsible for confirming side work duties are completed, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the venue, managing stock and inventory levels, and assisting with cash register audits and shift reports. Acting as an extension of leadership, the Lead Food & Beverage Attendant collaborates with management to implement strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Other responsibilities include conducting team member uniform checks, assisting with hosting duties, and occasionally supporting bar set-up and beverage batching.   • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of food and beverage experience
  • Preferably two years of customer service experience
  • Previous leadership training or experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English
  • Must perform basic math operations
  • Must accurately manage cash transactions
  • Must provide friendly, efficient service and resolve issues
  • Must communicate clearly with guests and team members
  • Must work well under pressure
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license
  • Must obtain and maintain a current food handler’s card
  • Must obtain and maintain a Responsible Beverage Service certification
  • No driving responsibilities
  • Must work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds
  • Must have physical endurance for walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods
