UCCS is actively seeking a Lead Cook to join its Dining and Hospitality Services team. This full-time position, based in Colorado Springs, is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of culinary excellence that serve UCCS’s campus community. With an hourly pay rate ranging from $18.22 to $21.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications, this role exemplifies a career opportunity for professionals passionate about culinary arts and leadership in food service. The Lead Cook will support the Chef or Sous Chef in managing the preparation of quality food, overseeing the culinary team, and ensuring that daily operations meet the university’s principles of respect, trust, and growth.

Responsibilities include overseeing all facets of kitchen operation, from day-to-day menu adjustments to food presentation and sanitation standards.
